There are some things in life worth repeating and since you are one who cares deeply about relationships, I thought I might share a recent re-post that received a good amount of engagement including people asking to share. So I thought maybe it could be of some value to share with you too.
In celebration of Saturday’s wedding anniversary, I have spent some time reflecting on things I have learned from my marriage to Joel and as Facebook does, it reminded me of “memories from a year ago” which I thought were so helpful to me I re-shared and the response was so beautiful.
10 things I have learned from loving the same man for 40+ years and being married to him for 33 today (Saturday, actually).
1. It is possible to fall in love as a teenager and remain in love for decades (thru richer & poorer, sickness & health, gains & losses)
2. It is possible to live life IN love.
3. It is possible to completely recover from betrayal.
4. It is possible to recover from a dead / hard heart.
5. It is possible to be closer after a conflict than you were before.
6. It is possible to learn to trust each other again.
7. It is possible to enjoy adventure, a mission and a romance with the same person at any age.
8. It is possible to totally reinvent yourself & your relationship without leaving it. (In fact, it’s good for it.)
9. It is possible to have two very opinionated individuals in one relationship and still live your visions.
10. It is possible to love one person your entire life and honestly there is nothing like building a life together.
I love my husband, Joel Landi with all my heart. And I love what we are building together. 😍❤️️😍
What are some things you have learned that are possible that you did not originally believe so in your relationship?
One of my FB friends commented that this was helpful to him because of how it pointed out possibilities. When we eradicate cynicism and strive for faith, possibilities can become realities. His comment made me pause and think…what else is possible when I believe GOD and trust His word and rid myself of unbelief?
How about you? What could be possible in your life with greater belief and trust?
Why not live in the land of possibilities? We have a choice.
And yes, you may remember I shared this top 10 list last year because that was when I originally wrote it. But it is no less relevant today and definitely worth repeating. 😊
To YOUR increased belief!
