I am so thrilled to be sharing this special edition and our very first email of the new year. I am giving honorable mention to women who, in my mind, deserve the honor of being named in the group of Visionaries of 2020. I have had the opportunity to partner with these women who refused to let 2020’s continual craziness stop them from moving powerfully forward in the pursuit of living their visions God placed within them. And I am excited to share what they accomplished.
Now I am not saying they didn’t face tremendous opposition like so many of us. But it is what they did to work through their obstacles that inspires me. And to that end, I feel it is only right to share some of their victories with you now.
I have personally received so much inspiration from being in this fight with them and so I wanted to welcome you in as well. So it is with the intent to inspire YOU to also refuse to let ANY circumstances this year get in your way. Cause as they say, we are not getting any younger. 😊
So let me begin from left to right across the rows. Read through them all to get your New Year’s dose of inspiration. Because if these women can do it, why can’t you? Enjoy the read…
To begin our celebration, I am so very honored to have been a part of Ellen P Herbert’s incredible private self-care group this year. In spite of postponing a desired move and weathering the COVID in her own family, she launched her private self-care group called SLOW and became my personal self-care coach. I never knew how much more productive I could be until I started with Ellen. Her finale ended with a live performance from her talented and experienced stage performer Payton Herbert. What a treat! If you know you need to take your self-care higher…then check out Ellen P Herbert on FB.
To the right is the fabulous Natasha Ngundu, who many of you know as our own personal MC from our live events. Her accent alone is to die for. But it was after moving from Australia back to her home in the UK (thankfully before the shut down happened) that left her without a job, but she took the time to get to work on her vision. I am thrilled to announce Makeda Brands Magazine is about to be released and it is beautiful!! Filled with tips on health, beauty, and business, it really is a must for all global women entrepreneurs. Going through final edits, I will be sharing the link in an upcoming email. But it is beautiful…imagine publishing your own magazine?? 😊
3rd to the right is Socorro Carranza, RD and founder of Peak Nutrition Academy and though she had to homeschool her kids, she continued to be a great wife, taught at Pasadena City College, USC and launched her tele-health practice. If you or anybody you know struggles with diabetes or pre-diabetes, please get an appointment with Socorro. She knows her stuff and has fantastic results and is now accessible to many. And with the continued health threat we need to be proactive.
And last on right, top row is Dr. Kris Sargent who though too was faced with tremendous challenges including a tree falling on her house and crashing through her roof, she launched her Spark Faith podcast and is on a mission to make functional medicine accessible to so many more through her online group coming soon. So if you know you don’t feel good but the doctors tell you are fine, then schedule a complimentary explore call with her. I have learned there is so much more to health than being NOT SICK. And at the very least, check out her podcast on Spotify and anchor where faith & health intersect.
2nd row on left is our own Lifegiving JOY wellness coach, Michelle Wright, who specializes in meditation and movement as a means to better mental health. And who doesn’t need that right now? She offers workshops and a supportive loving community and you can find her on FB too. What a privilege to have worked with her as she resourcefully found a way to bring her vision to life. So proud of her.
And to her right is Dr. Caryn Bryant, OB/GYN and author of Overcoming Generational Curses. As a women’s family health expert, she really does see emotional family health as essential. She not only wrote a book on this subject which is in editing, but also has a companion workbook to make the steps she discusses actionable. Her faith is evident through it all, and I love the way she acknowledges and yet overcomes race and generational barriers that prevent us from loving forward. I cannot wait to get my copies. Be on the lookout. And please pray for her. Her message is powerful.
And then there is Jamie Renae Gregg who published her 1st book of poetry, Pebblestone, on Amazon this year at the height of the lockdown. Such soothing poems for troubling times. I absolutely love mine.
Bottom left is Stacey Koehler, one of our newest members who opened the private FB group, Road Trip Renewal, where 100’s have gathered to share how they have hit the road and fantastic trips they have taken to get renewed during this crazy year. But that’s not all, stay tuned because Stacey has a companion guide she is working on designed to help you take a trip and get unstuck with her signature formula. Sounds like a win-win to me.
Next to her is the amazing Sarah Dalton, who not only published her 3rd edition of her fantastic planner, Peace & Productivity. Get one while supplies last. I got mine. And it’s the best planner ever. But she also launched her very own podcast too – Your Simply Big Life, found on Google podcasts. What a rockstar she is as she continues to help harried moms love their lives. Thank you Sarah!
And then there is Andreana Mendoza, potentially one of the most challenged with her vision this year since she is an outdoor travel influencer. But undaunted, she was still featured by Southwest Airlines, Discover LA, Visit Utah, and Visit CA Deserts, pivoted and continued to grow her following and serve them with her blog, beauty tips and best ways to cope being single in isolation. Check her out at The Southwest Conqueress on IG and definitely get her blog.
And bringing us in for a landing for this year is the amazing Mary Kay Neyland of MK Shine who in spite of a transcontinental move and significant relocation, she is killing it in her health and wellness coaching business. As my personal nutrition coach, I am eternally grateful to her continued teaching stress reduction and immune system boosting. Just what I needed. And congratulations to Mary Kay for filling your program that starts this Monday, Jan 4th. I am excited to join the 40 other women who are serious about their health. If there was ever a time, it is now.
So that’s a wrap!
My salute to you as a woman who knows there is more for you too! May each of you rise and shine even brighter in 2021!
