Just BEFORE I attempt to do something NEW that I have never done before and that is going to change me personally AND just AFTER every ‘mountaintop experience’…an onslaught of battles come in my head. They cause me to pause and question myself. They can really shut me down and cause me to live a life marked by denial, regret, fear and frustration. I find myself getting cranky and even lashing out at times because of my own feeling of powerlessness. I find myself in a cycle of guilt, avoidance and excuses.

Here is how it starts when I start looking to confront it and make some changes to really pursue my dreams and visions…

  1. “Who do you think you are?”
  2. “What makes you think you have ALL God will ask of you, if you completely surrender?”
  3. “Who and what are you trying to prove with this?”
  4. “Aren’t you a little old for this?”
  5. “Wouldn’t it just be easier, safer and more comfortable to stay small and be satisfied with what you already have?”

Any of this sound familiar?

Bad news: I have no antidote for the struggle.  That is part of the journey.

Good news: I just have found a solution for when I do.

Do you have a community of supportive like-minded visionary women and someone dedicated to your success? This is what has helped me to accomplish the dreams and visions God has put in my heart in spite of the battles in my head and even from those unsupportive voices around me.

To your winning!
