Life is so full of the planned and the unplanned. It is always wonderful when you plan something that comes out better than you hope. And I thank each one of you that spent last week with me and my guests. Truly, it was more than I’d hoped. What a wonderful time we shared together with over 400 women who joined in for the Reinvent Your Life 5-day training series.
I am always amazed that even though I have taught this for the last 7 years now, each time I go through it, I learn so much again. The idea of being a student of yourself has never gotten old.
We learned so much about ourselves:
🔹 What others see we are good at
🔹 What’s important to us
🔹 What lights us up
🔹 How important our stories are to our futures
There were comments like “I don’t want this to end” and I could not agree more.
I loved every minute with each of the women who participated, and the level of connection available has stunned me once again – even through these digital platforms. Each made this time so very special. My guests (Tamara, Shay, Lisa, and Vicki) and each of you made it so meaningful.
Thank you for each comment, call, text, like, good wishes, and prayer. Whether you got to participate or not yet, it will be available this week and next still so it is not too late. (Click here to grab the replays.)
Even if you could not make the event, I want to thank you for showing up here, reading this email, and even considering what more you could do with what you have been given. That intent is recognized and valued whether you realize it or not yet, and I trust if that is in your heart, you will find a way to see it become a reality. 💜
And a special thank you for your kindness and support, especially the day 5 of the training when it became clear (as I prayed for) that it was to be Harley’s (my little French bulldog) last day with us. Her cancer took her over. So it was with a mix of great joy and great sadness that I delivered the Day 5 training and I observed how your presence bolstered me.
And THAT is the point I am driving at with this email. I have observed it after doing this work and proven by many neuroscience researchers that “strength is not derived from rugged individualism, but from our collective ability to plan, communicate and work together.” – John Cacioppo
Even with the sadness, I felt so much strength in your company.
Now that may seem obvious to you, but just so I say it, it is not just any collective but the right and safe collective that facilitates great growth. That I suppose is no mystery to you either. But what specifically is that?
The collective that allows YOU to be heard, seen, feel safe, and respected. THAT is where the magic happens, the growth and transformation occur and it all becomes really sweeter together.
Crying with you on Friday and yet still being able to give with a clear mind is a function of the mental fitness I have been training on, but also the culture within this incredible community that allows for me to be who I am and who God has enabled me to be.
If you know there is more in you and for you, then you must find the community to enable you to bring that out.
From all of us at LYV, including our furry 4-legged family members, I say thank you for being that for me. Let us continue to do this life together. The ups and the downs are sweeter together, and the possibilities are still endless.
