It is always so fascinating to me to see all the good that comes from challenges I wouldn’t have chosen, and perhaps even fought against.
With nearly 6 weeks now at home, there have been some blessings I would not have seen coming, but am so grateful for.
I thought I’d share my top 5 and ask you to share your top 5.
This serves many purposes. It will hopefully encourage each other and prove to ourselves once again how God really does work all things out for the good. It may take a shifting your perspective a bit, but it’s there.
And it really is great brain training besides…
The Japanese word for crisis means both Danger & Opportunity. What opportunities have come from this danger in your life?
危機は危険と機会です
My top 5 blessings from this crisis?
1. I had a breakthrough talk with my husband that was much needed. Certain fears were triggered within me from this pandemic that I didn’t even know were lurking below the surface. So it was incredible to have a real breakthrough talk in my marriage that to me have brought Joel and I to a next level and resolved something I’d been stumbling with for years.
2. I think it has been an incredible time of drawing closer to God, which is never a bad thing. I just realized how much more time I’m spending with Him and how enriching this time is to my life. I have felt His presence and heard so much more from Him lately as I find myself meditating on the scriptures, listening to more worship music, enjoying more church services and spiritual movies. I feel I am really immersing myself in God in a way that my busy life prior did not allow for. Feels so good.
3. My relationship with my daughter has never been this pleasant. We’ve been able to talk through important things in her life, concerning finances, spirituality and her love life. We have really become friends. What a gift.
4. The women of this community are so much stronger than they think and continue to impress me with their creativity and resilience. I am so blessed by the women I get to partner with on this journey. Through job loss, cut backs and careers coming to an end, they have kept their faith and resiliently pressed on in building out their visions. One has completely replaced her income. Another has built the foundation so she can quickly pivot to it with her cutback. And the third is so thankful since her job is in serious question, that we started this journey last year and that her next chapter is clear. Shout out to these amazing visionaries and very smart women!
5. I’m so excited to have found a way to help more women than ever this Summer – stay tuned!
Post in the comments below let me know what your top 5 blessings are that you believe would never have happened if not for this crisis.
Part of being a successful visionary and woman of impact is being able to see the possibilities that come from challenges.
This is how I coach – training women’s minds to look for and report victories on a regular basis. It’s part of how we rewire the brain to live at a higher level.
Can’t wait to hear.
To this danger becoming your opportunity.
