The number one reason people don’t realize their dreams/visions and live them out is that they never get clear about them. Contrary to popular belief, it is not due to a lack of resources, training, money or time. They simply cannot sift through all the muck in their mind to have a clear picture.

People don’t realize their dreams because of the lack of clarity. That’s right, simply a lack of clarity and the brain cannot formulate the next right step to see that dream realized.

And the truth is …. Clarity takes work.

Most people walk around with a vague sense of what they want for their life but it usually sounds like this when I first ask them…

“I want a good relationship.”
“I want my kids to do well in life.”
“I want to have enough money.”
“I want to be healthier.”

But do you hear how vague those all are?

Lack of clarity kills more dreams and visions than disappointment or disadvantage ever will.  Take for example JK Rowling, living in her car as a single mother writing on bar napkins piecing work together, but with a clear view of publishing her book, Harry Potter. It was because she saw her vision clearly, she went on to become the first person to become a US-dollar billionaire by writing books.

We have a saying in my programs, “Confused minds don’t move.” But when clarity comes – watch out world!

Here’s one easy exercise to start reframing your thought process and begin to declutter your mind: Start by making a list of whatever thoughts are jumbled up in your mind right now. Once you’ve got your thoughts on paper – read it. Okay, now read it again. The jumbled mess will start to make sense. You can now start to sort out the unnecessary stuff and make a new list of the important things. Little by little, things will become more clear, and before you know it – no more mess!

It is my hope for all of you that you find clarity and begin to move towards realizing your dreams. The world is yours for the taking!
