This will take just a minute, and I would be so appreciative if you could simply reply in the comments with your answer.

Believe it or not, I have found that money is an emotionally charged subject, and as a result, we as women can steer away from it.  I have for nearly 40 years because I hate conflict, and so many times, it appeared as a source of one.

Well, that led me down the pathway of ignorance, irresponsibility, immaturity, and insecurity in regard to finances. So much so that I have even given large sums of money away, not because I am so generous, (I am ashamed to admit) but because I didn’t know how to handle it and I didn’t want to learn for fear of becoming a center of conflict. It is so embarrassing that only later in life, in my 50’s, have I learned and become so much more financially confident.  But boy – did I have to overcome some negative emotions associated with it to do that. How about you?

I would so appreciate your feedback. Because if I don’t help women address what they feel, we are not going anywhere. So thank you in advance for your willingness to share your thoughts.

Who knew money could make you so emotional?

I sure didn’t but I’m thrilled to say that now, every Monday morning at my finance meetings, I walk in confident and at peace and excited to see how we can do more with what we have been given.

Thank you again for your reply.
