One of the many things we teach in Live Your Vision is to be a student of yourself NOT a judge. When you do that, you stand such a better chance of being able to grow since you are much more likely to hear the voice of God in your life which opens possibilities, and NOT your own critical voice which shuts down possibilities.
So in obedience to that teaching, I have asked myself what I find fascinating and I would invite you to do the same if you are trying to figure out what’s next for you. Make a list of everything that you are curious about as a start.
So one thing I am fascinated with is women in business.
Why, I have asked myself? (without judgment, ok?)
Maybe because of my lineage…
My great-grandma was widowed at 26 with 4 kids, put all 4 through college through the Great Depression, and left them all money when she died, still a widow at 96 by being extraordinarily resourceful (not cheap). I knew her to be generous and radiant with a sparkle in her eye until the end.
My grandma and mother were both CFOs of our family business, strong yet feminine using whatever they had to make more.
Truly Proverbs 31 women…‘seeing to it their trading is profitable’ while still loving their families and being faithful wives and shrewd businesswomen.
I find that fascinating and absolutely love to see women build and grow their own successful and sustainable businesses that serve them and their families. I thank God for the faith and courage of the women who raised me to boldly provide not just money but an example for me that women are capable of being powerful, feminine business leaders without trying to take men’s roles.
Join us to meet some modern-day heroines, to me, in business. Feminine, powerful, smart, faithful, loving, and savvy women in business will be featured this Saturday, April 23rd at our LYV Business Development Workshop. So whether you see yourself there yet or not, but you too are curious about how women thrive in business these days, please join us.
Let’s see to it your trading is profitable too!
