Oh, how I wish you could be a fly on the wall in one of our recent Live Your Vision groups. The conversation is so rich! Our time together each week is so deep and connected, vulnerable and inspired. The magic in them is really quite divine and this week’s group seemed extra ✨ magical ✨.

Now with so many women on the brink of a major breakthrough with their visions (including me), 😳 we are all feeling the jitters or the resistance, as we call it here.  And if we are not careful, those feelings can become crabs in a bucket pulling us right back down in order to ‘keep the status quo’.  So how are we walking through those vulnerable feelings to get to the other side and as one client said, “make her ceiling, her floor”?

We are practicing something you can do too.  Along with our morning rituals that we have established as good disciplinary practices, we are adding a practice I call “Cultivating Feelings that Favor Success“.

Wanna do this? Here’s how:

Step 1: Start first by getting comfortable, eyes closed, and deep breaths. Get into and stay in a peaceful meditative state throughout.

Step 2: Ask yourself “What does it feel like to be as successful as you choose easily and gracefully?” and start to reflect on that question with your eyes closed. Just notice what comes up. (i.e. excitement, anxiety, relief, accomplishment, etc.)

Step 3:  Staying in this meditative and reflective state throughout, now ask yourself “What are you feeling in your body when you think about being as successful as you choose gracefully and easily?” (tight throat, openness of chest, strengthened muscles in legs, etc.)

Step 4:  Where are you feeling it in your body? (head, chest, stomach, etc.)

Step 5: What shape is it? (solid, transparent, round, amorphous, etc.)

Step 6: What color is it?

Step 7: Does it move? 

Step 8: Now take a moment and write it down.

Interestingly enough, exploring what goes on in our bodies when we think about our visions is so informative. If there are some negatives associated with your view of success, they will need to be resolved or you will sabotage your own opportunities that come your way. That is another lesson.

But for now, however, you too can cultivate feelings that favor YOUR success. It is a big jump start and something that can at the very least change your day for the better and those around you.  When you feel good, you do good.  So enjoy.
