The times we are living in have now been labeled ‘The Great Migration’. With so much shake-up, many are using this time to get in touch with what is really important and to make the necessary adjustments. Have you found yourself doing that? Clearly, we are in that mode.
This is not the first time in history God has used either plagues or protests and persecutions to move people around. I look at it as a reshuffling of the deck. We can either resist it and struggle or surrender to it and trust that God is really looking out for our better interests. The way you look at it has a lot to do with how you do with it.
And so, as we take action to migrate toward our new chapter in Atlanta, GA, we are seeing all sorts of doors open which reminds me again that it is in our trust plus action that change happens. Both are required.
Sometimes we can sit and wait hoping something will change believing we ARE trusting by waiting, when in truth we are overthinking and paralyzed.
Sometimes we are busy, busy, busy taking action, but with a ton of anxiety. And sometimes any action is better than nothing. But really, is it just nervous energy serving as distraction?
I invite you to think through your last quarter of 2020 and evaluate – are you taking action with trust?
I do sense this is the time to make some changes; to migrate from where we have been to where we need to go. Do you sense that too?
I am enjoying this migration so much along the way – meeting so many wonderful new people, seeing so many new places, and gaining so many new insights as well as the new doors opening. The key I have learned in a journey, is to enjoy the journey, not just look at the destination. So I have included a few photos of our journey just for fun.
To your new doors opening & all fellow travelers welcome.
