So what do you think?
Ready to become a student of yourself?
Ready to do something different than you have been doing?

You’ve heard it said, “If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you will get the results you have always gotten.”

I warn you – it could lead to a refreshing new reality.

But know this – it will not come without opposition. We call it “the resistance”. I am sure you have felt it. The invisible forces that manifest in real reasons prevent you from going and doing something important.

Perhaps the opposition or resistance will come from within (i.e. you doubt already whether this work is worth the time that you have so little of already)

OR

You could be dissuaded by external sources as well, even well-meaning ones.

As expected, I have experienced the resistance I speak of in various forms including my own people-pleasing nature, fear, insecurity, and doubt as well as questioning from others I respect and suspicions as to my allegiances. I have experienced raised eyebrows, and even overt opposition saying…

Why should anyone pay for her services?
Where does she get her credibility?
Where does she go to church or does she anymore?

But to live, meaning, to live as Christ…who often too took the lonely road of public misunderstanding that the Spirit called Him to is to also at times experience that for what you believe.

Since I started walking this road, I am once again reminded that I am not alone. There have been many great spiritual giants who walked ahead of me and have come to the same conclusion.

That if embracing humanness was good enough for Jesus, how could I avoid it? That ALL of what God has allowed in my life must be for a reason and can be useful for greater good. Not just the so-called “holy” parts. But living a life of wholeness that comes through greater knowledge of self is essential to following the call.

I had come to a place in my journey and relationship with God that as David Benner says, “There will be no deep knowing of God apart from knowing self and no deep knowing of self apart from knowing God.”

My discontent and loss of direction stemmed from my deep hunger. I was starving to know God more deeply and that came through, of all things, self-study.

Who would have guessed?

But again, as David Benner so eloquently states…

“How tragic it is when a person invests all his/her energy in knowing God and none in genuinely knowing himself/herself. And how terrifying when such a person is in a position of leadership or influence. Christian maturity demands that we know God and ourselves, recognizing that the deep knowing of each supports deeper knowing of the other.”

“The glory of God is to be a fully alive human being.” – St. Ireneus

So LYV (unbeknownst even to me at the time) was created as a beautiful pathway for women to follow to gain greater experiential knowledge of self, and as a result, a next-level experiential knowledge of God. THAT opens whole new chapters!

My prayer is that if any of this from the last 3 emails has unsettled or moved you in any way, you will reach out to us. You will join us for our free ReInvent Your Life 5 day Training series (Jan. 16th-20th) to begin this beautiful journey of self-study that is required for new chapters. Make sure to register so you get the worksheets that go along with the training.

So many women have been renewed and revived and are now living again but this time embracing their humanness not denying it, and as a result, are becoming fully alive…to the Glory of God!

Where are you?

Ready to find out? Ready to see who you were created to be? Ready to begin the study of self with us in this safe, grace-based, beautiful community?

This is our annual event that has helped so many women begin whole new chapters for themselves by starting with YOU. Please share with your friends.
