Who are you? Now that is one of those woo-woo, existentialist questions, right?

But seriously, have you slowed down, studied, or spent much time thinking about who you are?

I know, I know – it sounds incredibly self-centered. I’ve heard it all, but humor me for the next 5 minutes that it may take you to read this through.

And to clarify, I do not mean roles you play like wife, mom, your professional title, achievements, faith, gender identifications, or ethnicity.

None of those are what I am referring to.

But outside of those, have you given much thought to WHO you are?

I spent this morning thinking about that for myself.

If you’ve been around this community very long, you know we have a strong belief that you are the compilation of:

  1. Your beautiful God-given strengths – attributes that He has graciously decided to deposit within you and desires to share with the world through you.
  2. Your Values – also from God about what you hold dear and are designed to serve as guideposts and guardrails.
  3. Your Passions – the essence of what lights you up, what you are fascinated by, and what brings the fire out of you.
  4. Your life experiences, known as YOUR Story – determine your driving motivation or your WHY.

Yes, you are a complex, multi-faceted, brilliant, unique, design that is suited perfectly for an equally impressive destiny.

You say…Julie, you do not even know me. My response? I do not have to.

I have never met a person yet who was not a magical and marvelous creation whom God had great plans for. Yes, even those who have had very difficult circumstances.

Now whether they realize those amazing plans or not comes down to a few things and one of them is how well they know themselves.

Think about it…if you do not know what your cell phone can do, then you will not know how to use it. If you don’t know yourself, you don’t know what you are best used for.

The clearer you are on “you”, the clearer your vision, and the clearer your pathway.

One problem: Most women I know have spent decades focusing on everyone else and neglecting to study themselves. Now many have had impressive careers, academic achievements, and beautiful families but even in all that there is often missing information.

Hint:  It often becomes apparent when one of those areas breaks down. It’s often in a challenge that we begin to question who we are. And that is the start of something great.

But in any case, what I have found in all my years of studying and working with women…
🔹 Either they have a view of self that is puffed up that they are trying to project and talk themselves into OR
🔹 They have a view of self that is insecure and hiding their light.

Either way, it impedes their destiny.

One of the most incredible gifts you can give yourself and others you care about is the gift of getting to know yourself…I mean really….eyes wide open to truth (not condemnation) and a willing heart and mind of a student really seeking to learn. This time the subject is YOU.

The better you know yourself, the better you can know others.
The better you know yourself, the better you know what to do.
The better you know yourself, the better you see what your vision is.

As I sit here this morning marveling at whom God has made me to be in gratitude and by His grace, it calls me to a greater surrender to the pathway He has for me. That clarity brings confidence (and peace).

So who am I?
I am a strategic, problem-solving, visionary who perseveres optimistically to win others over. I am confident in my ability to learn, fascinated by the uniqueness of others, turning ideas into opportunities.

I value
⭐ GOD
⭐ My marriage and family
⭐ Growth
⭐ Creativity
⭐ Serving Others
⭐ Financial Wellness

I am passionate about
⭐ Watching faith take form.
⭐ Creating a culture of grace where the collective enables the individual to rise.
⭐ Seeing women blow their own minds with what they are capable of and accomplish.
⭐ Walking daily hearing the Spirit’s guidance.
⭐ Exploring, learning, and growing in understanding different cultures and perspectives.
⭐ Learning how to connect more deeply and authentically with others.

From My Story comes My WHY
I believe that every individual is uniquely gifted and if we take the time (that is a big if only very few will choose) to discover, develop and distribute those gifts, we will make the world a better place by bringing much-needed solutions to this world.

But more importantly now….
Who are YOU?
Do you really know “you”?

I may not know you yet, but I do know this…the world needs what you have and it begins with YOU knowing you, too.

Not convinced?  Set up a call with our team and we will be happy to provide more evidence for you.

Cheers to you knowing you!
