Here is what is on my heart and I would love to know what’s on yours. I do believe there is so much to be gained through listening. I shared earlier this week that I want sooo much to be sensitive to other’s pain right now and my heart breaks for those who have endured so much. 😢
For some, it may be too soon to think about a better future but for others, it is exactly what is needed. We are all experiencing things so differently. I pray for grace and patience with each other as we all strive to find what is needed to make this better. So listening will be so valuable and not just to what is on social media but what is coming up in your heart.
In the work I do, we talk about how God is writing content in your life, particularly and even IN the challenging times. So apparently, He’s got lots to write about right now.
I do however want to give a special shout out to the brave women I have worked with closely over the past several years. They have experienced so much challenge yet have decided to use it for the good of others.
These women of every color and background have shown me the meaning of resilience and how hurt can turn to hope and then help. I dream of that for our world today; that our collective hurt can turn to hope and then help for each other.
To all those that are hurting, you are in my prayers and I invite you to carefully listen, which can be harder when in pain, but what is God writing on your heart? I also invite you to join us to see, if nothing else, the hope that is available even in some of the darkest times when that hurt is turned to hope.
Hurt people, hurt people. Healed people, heal people.
Hope-filled people, fill others with hope.
